Jefferson County ReStore Accepting Donations

Jefferson County Wisconsin Habitat for Humanity (JCWHFH)is excited to announce that they will be opening a long anticipated thrift store for building materials, known as a Habitat ReStore, early this year.
The ReStore will begin to take donations of new or gently used building materials on Saturday mornings from 9:00 A.M.- 12:00 P.M. located at 1525 Summit Avenue, Unit 2, Fort Atkinson (right next to St. Vincent De Paul Society).
The affiliate kindly asks that donations not be left at the building site without prior approval.
Habitat ReStores are retail outlets where quality used and surplus building materials are sold at a fraction of normal prices. Proceeds from ReStores are used to help local affiliates fund the construction of Habitat homes within the community.

Habitat for Humanity of Jefferson County works to create decent, affordable housing in partnership with those in need and to make shelter a matter of conscience with people everywhere.
Donating in Jefferson County
The affiliate is responsible for raising all funds from sources within Jefferson County, which comes through partnerships with individuals, corporations, foundations, congregations, and civic groups. It will cost approximately $100,000 to build a Habitat home in 2009, including materials, tools and supplies.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, and the staff of Jefferson County Wisconsin Habitat for Humanity we would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of those you have donated with gifts in kind, volunteering, and/or monetarily.
Without all of your support and generosity we would not be able to provide decent, simple and affordable housing to those in need within Jefferson County.
